Performance of broad nose

broad nose指鼻背或alar横向宽度过大，正面显"nose宽、鼻头大"，缺乏精致感。常见为鼻骨过宽（鼻根至鼻背中段间距大）和/或鼻翼外张。

Evaluation Width Proportion

鼻部美学关注鼻背宽度与两眼间距、鼻长的关系。需先判断是骨性宽还是软组织（鼻翼）宽，二者处理方式不同。

• Nasal bone advancement (osteotomy): Close the overly wide nasal bone to the midline and narrow the back of the nose;

• nasal flap treatment：鼻翼外张者需同期Narrowing of the nose或内收；

• The comprehensive design avoids simple coarctation causing the dorsal nose to collapse or become unnatural.

The osteotomy has a recovery period for swelling and bruising, and the doctor needs to control the extent of the push. If too low, it may show a flat nose.
