What is a crooked nose?

歪鼻指nose（骨和/或cartilage）偏离中线，正面观鼻背不直，常合并鼻中隔偏曲, affecting the appearance and even ventilation.

Why are ventilation problems often combined

The nasal septum is the supporting structure for the midline of the nose. Deviation can cause both distortion of the shape and stenosis of the nasal cavity. Simply correcting the appearance without treating the septum may leave poor ventilation.
